What is wrong. The front short-range radar sensor printed circuit board may fail and result in a loss of automatic emergency braking and other driver assistance features.
What could happen. An automatic emergency braking system that does not function as intended can increase the risk of a crash.
The fix. Dealers will replace the short-range sensor, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 21, 2025. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is VS3RADARS. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 24, 2025.

Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling certain 2025 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 vehicles. The front short-range radar sensor printed circuit board may fail and result in a loss of automatic emergency braking and other driver assistance features.
Check that your car is on the list
Most campaigns cover only cars built in a certain date range or at a certain plant, so a 2025 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter may or may not be included. The VIN is the only sure test.
